Testnet transparency

Who signs the votes today

In this first version of Emunify, our server signs votes and trusts on behalf of users. We chose this on purpose: Emunify is for voters around the world, not crypto experts, and we don't want early users to lose a secret key or have to manage a wallet before they know the platform.

What stays private

Each vote is sent from a one-time address, so no one looking at the blockchain can tell who voted. The signing key is secret: it is stored only on the signing server, and only the founder has access to it. He takes full responsibility for it.

What no one can do

No one, including us, can change a vote once it is written on chain. The chain's admin key, which can upgrade the network's rules, is kept offline until the final network.

Moving to full decentralization

Every user already has their own wallet in the app, with the key kept on their phone. Letting users sign their own votes with it is the next step, and any organization can ask for it now.
